Design: On the south side (354,000 square feet), two 17,000 CFM RAM22 units with on-off thermostats were installed with a discharge temperature set for 140 degrees F. On the north side (285,000 square feet), two 17,000 CFM RAM22M recirculating Total Heat Systems units were installed, each including continuous space temperature and static pressure control.

Pressurization:

  1. North side (Total Heat System) – Comfortable, consistent temperatures throughout warehouse
  2. South side (Cycling System) –Strong, cold drafts near dock doors

Recommendation:

  1. Utilize Total Heat System on both sides of the warehouse for maximum comfort and energy savings
